Many anglers wonder or have wondered how to catch a rainbow trout and in this article I will draw upon my twenty plus years of trout fishing experience to outline some of the basics that every fisherman in search of rainbow trout should be aware of along with some tips and techniques that will make them a more successful trout fisherman.
Many people who head out onto the water are in search of the best way to catch fish, but is this question even possible to answer? So, with all of these (and many more) variables there is obviously no single answer to the question posed in the title if this article.

I have been fishing for (and catching) rainbow trout for more than twenty years and in that time have learned many tips and techniques that have enabled me to achieve what many fishermen would call a very high level of trout fishing success.
