Fishing Report for Amistad Lake Texas

Planning your trip to Lake Amistad? The water has been clear and about 55 degrees. It is approximately 2 feet below pool level with no change expected soon. Largemouth bass are fair to good on soft plastics, jerkbaits, jigs, and crankbaits. Striped bass are only fair on smaller crankbaits and minnows. Fishing Report says that white bass are fair to good on smaller crankbaits, and live minnows. Crappie fishing is only fair with minnows around Devil's River. The Catfish are only fair on cheesebait, shrimp, and night crawlers. Try trotlines using perch for Yellow catfish. Be sure to have a Mexican license if you are fishing in Mexico.
