Toledo Bend Lakewater is stained and about 87 degrees. The lake is 3.99' low. Largemouth bass are fair using red-bug and plum soft-plastic worms early morning and late afternoon, try diving-baits at night, and on topwaters over schooling fish. Striped bass fishing is slow at this time. White bass fishing is good on spoons at this time. Crappie fishing is rather slow/fair on live minnows over and in the brush in 20 to 25 feet. Bream fishing is excellent on crickets or nightcrawlers off boatdocks in 4 to 5 feet. Channel/blue catfish are good on trot-lines baited using live bait, stinkbait, and liver. Yellow catfish are fairly slow at this writing.
