Lake Lavon Water is stained and 83–88 degrees. The lake is 2.82' low. Largemouth bass are fair on Pop-R's and white buzz-baits early in morning, later switch to shallow running crank-baits, camo-jigs and Carolina-rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on night-crawlers and cut-bait.
