Lake Athens water is fairly clear, 84 to 88 degrees and 0.23' high. Largemouth bass are fair on buzz-baits early in morning, later switch to Texas-rigs and smaller jigs. Crappie fishing is good on jigs and live minnows in about 10 yo 15 feet of water around and over brush piles. Catfish are good on night-crawlers and most prepared baits.
