Sizzling Summer Fishing Featured on "Kentucky Afield" Television July 29-30
On Saturday and Sunday July 29 and 30, the “Kentucky Afield” television program will focus on a summertime version of a $1.3 billion per year Kentucky activity: fishing.
Join host Tim Farmer on Green River Lake and at a private cypress slough in western Kentucky for walleye and bowfin fishing. Campbellsville’s Bill Jarboe and Dale Perry of Paducah finesse two distinctively different bodies of water to demonstrate that even in summer heat, there is still a chill when a big one strikes your line.
“Kentucky Afield” is a production of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. It is the longest continuously running outdoor television show in the nation. “Kentucky Afield” airs Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Eastern /7:30 p.m. Central and is repeated on Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern/3 p.m. Central on KET.
