I had an idea for a design to help me when running my charter trips. I found a Lady who custom embroiders Unique Items. I asked her if she could manufacture an item I had a use for to assist me on my Charter Boats when on the water. She was nice enough to do so and after she made a set for me, every charter boat captain in my Marina and Marinas in the surrounding area after seeing them rigged up in Our Rod Racks asked to have a set made for their boats and they gave them the moniker the Dipsy Diver Condom. I had them made to help me keep my set-up dipsy rig's secure when running from spot to spot when fisihng. They aid in preventing stressed out knot's and swivels and rods plus they are a time saver by not haiving me break down the rigs between trips Etc.You can see Pic's of them or order them in the various sizes from my Charter service at http://www.battlefishcharters.com. Again, things are slowly improving. We haven't heard of anyone beating on them, but there are a few fish to be had. Clam Chumming on the West Bar is producing a few fish and plugging with small swimming plugs (Bombers for example), bucktails, Fin_S and Slug-Go's are getting a few as well. Pete, from the shop, fished between the Meadowbrook and Wantagh bridges yesterday afternoon and had a few small bass on Fin-S fish. High outgoing tide would be the best conditions for this type of fishing!
