 <title>BFL Announces League Super Tournament Winners</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;BUCKEYE DIVISION - SANDUSKY, Ohio - Boater Bryan Coates of Amherst, Ohio, earned 300 points and $4,732 Sunday as the winner of the Buckeye Division Super Tournament on Lake Erie. He also earned a $1,500 Ranger Cup and Powered by Yamaha bonus for a total of $6,232 in winnings. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Coates&#039; two-day winning catch of 10 bass weighed 42 pounds, 14 ounces.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rounding out the top five boaters are David Hayward of Sylvania, Ohio (10 bass, 41 pounds, 6 ounces, $2,366); Dick Parker of Amherst, Ohio (10 bass, 37 pounds, 14 ounces, $1,577); Jared Rhode of Port Clinton, Ohio, (10 bass, 37 pounds, 13 ounces, $1,104) and William Redmond of Sciotoville, Ohio (nine bass, 36 pounds, 12 ounces, $946). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Kevin Spears of New Boston, Ohio and Dick Parker of Amherst, Ohio tied for the Boater Division Snickers Big Bass award with a 5-pound, 6-ounce bass that earning them $277.50 each. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Jeff Rain of Saint Marys, Ohio, earned $2,238 as the co-angler winner thanks to 10 bass weighing 41 pounds, 5 ounces. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rounding out the top five co-anglers are Jeff Hahn of Alliance, Ohio. (10 bass, 38 pounds, 11 ounces, $1,119); Daniel Shuga of Botkins, Ohio (10 bass, 36 pounds, 8 ounces, $748); Ray Yocum of Dayton, Ohio., (nine bass, 33 pounds, 9 ounces, $522) and Shawn Leonard of Columbus, Ohio (nine bass, 27 pounds, 14 ounces, $448). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Steve Furr of Lima, Ohio, earned $262 as the co-angler Snickers Big Bass winner with a 5-pound, 7-ounce bass. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The top 40 Buckeye Division boaters and co-anglers based on year-end points standings will now advance to the no-entry-fee Kentucky Lake Regional Championship near Gilbertsville, Ky., Oct. 19-21, where they will compete against Bama, Hoosier and Mountain anglers for a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck in the Boater Division plus six slots in the no-entry-fee 2007 Wal-Mart BFL All-American presented by Chevy. &lt;p&gt;Pannell&#039;s two-day winning catch of 10 bass weighed 35 pounds, 3 ounces. He was throwing a jig in and around stumps, laydowns and other submerged structure to catch his bass. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pannell also won the Boater Division Snickers Big Bass award with a 5-pound, 10-ounce bass that earned him an additional $1,080. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rounding out the top five boaters are Mike Keel of Auburn, Ala. (10 bass, 29 pounds, 6 ounces, $3,619); Tim Hurst of Oxford, Ala. (10 bass, 28 pounds, 8 ounces, $2,414); Scott Canterbury of Odenville, Ala. (10 bass, 27 pounds, 13 ounces, $1,689); and Jamie Horton of Centerville, Ala. (10 bass, 27 pounds $1,448). &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ritter&#039;s two-day winning catch of 10 bass weighed 29 pounds, 2 ounces. He was throwing a Spro Bronze Eye Frog around the edges of grass beds to catch his bass. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Rounding out the top five boaters are Thomas Boynton of Le Claire, Iowa (10 bass, 28 pounds, 1 ounce, $2,824); Douglas Stanton of Winona, Minn. (10 bass, 27 pounds, 9 ounces, $1,882); Dan Thill of LaCrosse, Wis. (10 bass, 27 pounds, 6 ounces, $1,318); and Mike Brueggen of Cashton, Wis. (10 bass, 26 pounds, 14 ounces, $1,130). &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Rounding out the top five boaters are Roger Fitzpatrick of Eldon, Mo. (10 bass, 32 pounds, 5 ounces, $3,234); Mark Dunbar of Jefferson City, Mo.  <title>Vatalaro Wins Stren Series Event On Lake Erie</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;CLEVELAND, Ohio (July 22, 2006) - Gain pro Vic Vatalaro of Kent, Ohio, caught a final-round total of 10 bass weighing 38 pounds, 10 ounces to win the $262,125 Stren Series Northeast Division tournament presented by Yamaha on Lake Erie Saturday. Vatalaro won a 519VX Ranger powered by an Yamaha outboard and equipped with Minn Kota trolling motor, Lowrance electronics and EverStart batteries plus $9,200 cash. He also earned a $10,000 contingency bonus from Ranger and for a total of $59,200.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Vatalaro opened the tournament Wednesday with five bass weighing 19 pounds, 8 ounces.
