Lake Lavon, Fishing Report.
Lake Lavon is located near Wylie Texas just off Hwy 78 in Collin County just N.E. of Dallas Texas.
It has a surface area of approximately 21,400 acres, with a depth of 59 ft. Lake Lavon was created in 1953 and expanded in 1974 which nearly doubled it's size. The pool level is 492 ft. with a moderate annual fluctuation. The water clarity is greenish in color with good visibility.

Lake Lewisville was impounded in 1954 and is located on the Trinity River in Texas. It is near Lewisville TX. It has 29,592 acres of water with a fluctuation average of 4 to 8 ft annually and a pool level of 522 ft. Lake Texoma was impounded in 1944 and is located on the Red River in North Texas on the Texas and Oklahoma border just northwest of Denison and Sherman Texas. It has 74,686 acres of water with a maximum depth of 100 ft. and a pool level of 615 ft to 619 ft. msl

Located on the San Jacinto River. Pool level is 201 ft mls with a fluctuation average of 1 to 3 ft annually. The normal lake water is slight to moderate algal staining. Lake Conroe has a surface area of 20,118 acres.

Largemouth bass are by far the most popular fish species on Lake Conroe Texas.  While not plentiful, large bass have been caught, with the lake record of 14.1 lbs in 1997. Lake Conroe is located in Montgomery county Texas, approximately 40 miles north of Houston Texas on I-45. Impounded in 1973, Lake Conroe has an area of 20,118 acres with a pool level of 201 ft msl and a fluctuation of  1 to 3 ft a year. Water is clear to algal stained.
