Lake Lavon, Fishing Report.
Lake Lavon is located near Wylie Texas just off Hwy 78 in Collin County just N.E. of Dallas Texas.
It has a surface area of approximately 21,400 acres, with a depth of 59 ft. Lake Lavon was created in 1953 and expanded in 1974 which nearly doubled it's size. The pool level is 492 ft. with a moderate annual fluctuation. The water clarity is greenish in color with good visibility.
Lake Lewisville was impounded in 1954 and is located on the Trinity River in Texas. It is near Lewisville TX. It has 29,592 acres of water with a fluctuation average of 4 to 8 ft annually and a pool level of 522 ft. Lake Conroe is located in Montgomery county Texas, approximately 40 miles north of Houston Texas on I-45. Impounded in 1973, Lake Conroe has an area of 20,118 acres with a pool level of 201 ft msl and a fluctuation of 1 to 3 ft a year. Water is clear to algal stained.
