First Light Net, a provider of targeted internet advertising for the fishing, hunting, sports & outdoor industries, announced today it has acquired the domain name fishing.net, the third in a series of recent acquisitions including fishing.org, and chatanoogafishingforums.com.
Colorado’s wildlife is the subject of a new statewide public education campaign to be launched Monday, November 13. The legislatively mandated campaign supports the mission of the Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW). The monies for the campaign were financed through a 75 cent surcharge on hunting and fishing licenses.
The “Walk-in Access Program” sponsored by the Colorado Division of Wildlife to provide hunters access to private land to hunt small game is expanding to western Colorado.
In September, several ASA staff members, along with staff from the FishAmerica and Future Fisherman Foundations, attended the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies’ annual meeting (AFWA).
The Colorado Division of Wildlife (DOW) is hosting Angler Roundtables in Fraser and Kremmling. The Fraser meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 29 at the Fraser Town Hall (153 Fraser Avenue) from 6 to 9 p.m. The Kremmling meeting will be Wednesday, Aug 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Grand County Fairgrounds Extension Hall.
